The owner, Sandra Robbs, has set out to provide the dressmakers of Newbury and beyond with a wide range of interesting, fine quality and wearable fabrics, while still providing value for money.
Emphasis is placed on natural fabrics wherever possible. In summer, linens and cottons are at the forefront, while in winter, wools and wool mixtures take centre stage.

Take a while to view Butterick, Vogue, McCalls and Simplicity patterns in a seated browsing area. Burda and New Look patterns may be ordered as well. Many of the fabrics have been made up using patterns that are available in store to give you ideas and inspiration.
There is also a wide range of haberdashery including Gutermann threads and Berisford ribbons. The excellent button range now includes Spanish and Italian buttons.
